Simon, your trips are awesome. I have red many of your blogs and this is one of my favorites. I have always collected volcano rocks and lava rocks but I never went to a volcano and grabbed one. I would love to sleep near a hot lava lake. I don’t care if I have to go a billion hours at car: it’s worth it. I can’t imagine my self going in a wired army car… I like how you said in the title „Gate to Hell” because it’s very original. Also, I liked when you said at the end: „See you in my next post” because it’s very funny:). I am a heat lover. I always use max. hot water and wear jacket. Its just very confutable. Sleeping there must be very confutable (if you’re not wearing t-shirt) because you’re near lava; all though, it must be scary because of the soldiers. Even though, you are protected. I don’t understand how you got the camels and why was it dangerous to run. Why do you do this trips? Do you know many languages? What do you learn with this trips? I hope I can one day go there and sleep near lava, like you did.
