Siquijor fish eating my hands…

Further part of my trip to Siquijor, in the Phillippines.

🇵🇱聽O dalszej cz臋艣ci podr贸偶y po wyspie Siquijor, na Filipinach.

Next morning we stood up and we started planning our day. I had an idea to go to waterfalls because we read that they are beautiful. We saw also that we can go there by the way where there is the oldest and the strangest tree in Siquijour. We started driving.

Nast臋pnego ranka wstali艣my i zacz臋li艣my planowa膰 nasz dzie艅. Wpad艂em na pomys艂, 偶eby艣my pojechali do wodospad贸w, bo wcze艣niej czytali艣my, 偶e s膮 naprawd臋 pi臋kne. Ruszyli艣my w drog臋.

After a few kilometers we arrived at our first stop, close to a village Campalanas. It was a very very old Banjan tree. My mum started taking photos. Suddenly, I saw a guy which was selling coconuts. I love them! Yummy 馃檪 He cut of the top of a coconut and he gave it to us than we can drank it. He also made a funny trick. When we gave empty coconut to him (after we drank it) he cut it with a machette into two parts. Then he also cut-off a little piece from the bottom of it. It was a 聽spoon!!!!! This way we could it coconut pulp with this spoon. It was awesome!

Po kilku kilometrach dotarli艣my do pierwszego postoju, blisko wioski Campalanas. To by艂o bardzo, bardzo stare drzewo Banjan. Mu艅ka zacz臋艂a robi膰 zdj臋cia. Nagle, zobaczy艂em faceta, kt贸ry sprzedawa艂 kokosy. Uwielbiam je! Pychota 馃檪 Odcina艂 czubek kokosa tak, 偶eby mo偶na go by艂o wypi膰. Robi艂 te偶 taki 艣mieszny trick. W ten spos贸b mogli艣my wyje艣膰 pulp臋 ze 艣rodka. To by艂o super!

We saw some people sitting in water next to the tree. I went there and saw that this is a natural 鈥渇ish-spa鈥. It looked like that: some people were siting in a聽 small spring and there were many small fishes which were eating your dead skin!!! It was the best! I really loved it. My skin was peeling off because of sun and all the fishes were in these places. The worst was when a big fish was coming – I felt like it was eating me 馃槈

We spent some time at the fish spa but we had to go to the waterfalls, so we started driving again.

Zobaczyli艣my ludzi siedz膮cych w wodzie ko艂o tego wielkiego drzewa. Podszed艂em i zauwa偶y艂em, 偶e to naturalne 鈥瀎ish-spa鈥. To by艂o ekstra. Uwielbiam fish-spa. To naprawd臋 fajne uczucie, chocia偶 chwilami strasznie 艂askocze 馃槈 Mnie akurat schodzi艂a sk贸ra z r膮k od s艂o艅ca i wszystkie rybki zebra艂y si臋 dok艂adnie w tych miejscach, gdzie ona odstawa艂a.

Posiedzieli艣my tam troch臋, ale mieli艣my jecha膰 do wodospad贸w, wi臋c nied艂ugo ruszyli艣my w dalsz膮 drog臋.

When I thought about these waterfalls I imagined that there will be only small waterfall and that鈥檚 it. It was better! There were three waterfalls which had about 5-6 meters! I jumped from this waterfalls. There were also two vines. Do you know why I am telling you about them? Because I was making 鈥淭arzan鈥 馃檪 聽I caught up the wine and I started swinging on it. I swung one time and I jumped into the water. I really loved it. It was so slippery on this waterfall. Once I was running to jump from there and I fell into the water!!!!!聽 I was so scared then! The locals told us that there is another waterfall near. Of course, I had to see it 馃檪 It was great, too, but too high to jump. Even the locals had a problem with jumping from the top because you could hit the rocks. That’s why I was bomb-jumping from a lower place. Do you like bomb-jumping?

Kiedy my艣la艂em o tych wodospadach, wyobra偶a艂em sobie, 偶e to b臋dzie tylko taki ma艂y wodospadzik i tyle. By艂o o wiele lepiej! By艂y tam trzy wodospady, kt贸re mia艂y po 5-6 metr贸w! Skaka艂em z nich i to by艂o super. By艂y tam te偶 takie pn膮cza. Wieie, dlaczego wam o tym m贸wi臋? Bo tam robi艂em 鈥濼arzana鈥 馃槈 艁apa艂em si臋 za lian臋 i buja艂em na niej, a potem skaka艂em do wody. By艂o fantastycznie. Raz bieg艂em, 偶eby skoczy膰, po czym po艣lizgn膮艂em si臋 i wpad艂em do wody. Nie藕le si臋 wtedy wystraszy艂em! Miejscowi powiedzieli nam, 偶e niedaleko jest te偶 kolejny wodospad. Oczywi艣cie musia艂em聽go聽zobaczy膰. Okaza艂o si臋, 偶e jest r贸wnie genialny, ale tam ju偶 nie uda艂o mi si臋 skaka膰 z samej g贸ry. 聽

After some time we had to go and I wasn鈥檛 happy about it. Few minutes later we went to a small village Cantabon. There were children playing and some coconuts drying on the road. Next we saw a big sign 鈥淐antabon Cave鈥 and a small building behind it. We got in there and I asked:

– Is there a cave somewhere here?

– After an hour we will be open. This is the cave. 鈥 answered a man.

– OK, we will come back after an hour – and we went away.

When we walked in the village we found a shaman. She gave us many herbs which help when you are ill. Do you remember how I told you that Siquijor is an island of witches and ghosts? We asked the shaman about the ghosts and she said: 鈥測es, of course, it鈥檚 true, they are here鈥 馃槈 We were talking so much time with her that we didn鈥檛 know that we talked for an hour.

Par臋 minut p贸藕niej dojechali艣my do wioski Cantabon. Dzieci bawi艂y si臋 na ulicy, a z boku by艂y susz膮ce si臋 kokosy. Nagle zobaczyli艣my wielki napis 鈥濲askinia Cantabon鈥 i jaki艣 ma艂y budynek za nim. Weszli艣my do 艣rodka i zapyta艂em:

– Czy tu jest jaka艣 jaskinia?

– Tak, tu jest jaskinia. Otwieramy za godzin臋.

– Dobrze, to wr贸cimy za godzin臋. 鈥 odpowiedzieli艣my i poszli艣my przej艣膰 si臋 po wiosce.

W wiosce spotkali艣my szamank臋, kt贸ra da艂a nam r贸偶ne zio艂a. Pami臋tacie, jak m贸wi艂em wam, 偶e Siquijor to wyspa czarownic i duch贸w? Zapytali艣my szamank臋 o duchy, a ona odpowiedzia艂a: 鈥瀘czywi艣cie, 偶e to prawda, s膮 tu duchy鈥 馃槈 Gadali艣my z ni膮 tak d艂ugo, 偶e nawet nie zauwa偶yli艣my, jak min臋艂a godzina.

A few minutes later we went to the cave. The cave was awesome! We were walking there for about three hours in mud and water up to our knees. In the end we even had to swim, it was really great. There were so many stalactites and stalagmites. The guides told us not to touch them, but one time I caught the stalactite because I slipped and I would almost break my leg. It was so dangerous. Once I fell into the hole in the cave but I didn鈥檛 have time to catch the stalactite. I thought that I will never stood up. Can you imagine? There were so many funny figures and rock formations. I found a thing that looked like a shower. I even drank water from it 馃槈 It was great.

Kilka minut p贸藕niej weszli艣my do jaskini. Jaskinia by艂a niesamowita! Szli艣my tam przez oko艂o 3 godziny w b艂ocie i wodzie do kolan. Pod koniec musieli艣my nawet p艂yn膮膰, ekstra nie?! By艂o tam mn贸stwo stalaktyt贸w i stalagmit贸w. By艂o naprawd臋 niebezpiecznie. Innym razem wpad艂em w dziur臋 w jaskini i ju偶 my艣la艂em, 偶e z niej nie wyjd臋 馃槈 Wyobra偶asz sobie? Pi艂em z niej wod臋 馃槈 Uwielbiam jaskinie!

In my next post I will tell you about what is my greatest fun聽– diving!!! So see you. Bye 馃槈

Dozo 馃槈
